One thing I learned the hard way: slice thickness is everything. My first batch was uneven and half turned chewy. A mandoline makes a real difference. Also found that letting the slices air-dry for 5 minutes before microwaving helps a lot. Simple recipe, but the small details matter more than you’d expect.

We make microwave potato chips often. We HAD this nifty little holder that you could put each potato slice in, microwave and end up with yummy, crispy, crunchy chips.
Then that thing melted. Eeeeeekkkkk. I hate plastic 🙁
We'll definitely try your recipe. We're total potato chip junkies over here – and I TRY not to but the bagged ones too often 🙂
