Hi Tameika. It would work but you might need to add just a little more seasoning. For the beef version, switch to beef broth. Hope you'll give it a try!!

My husband doesn't eat pork. Would chicken or beef be good in this stew??

Yes, this year need to be better! I have never made my own gnocchi, and with packaged ones that are so tasty, there was little need for me to make my own. Funny how the homemade ones you tried didn't measure up. I hope you'll find the perfect recipe one day!

Happy New Year,Thao. I do hope that 2019 will be better for you and your family. This dish looks really delicious, I like packaged gnocchi too, one of the few ready-made foods I buy. And I have to admit I've never managed to make decent homemade gnocchi, I haven't found that perfect recipe, something is always missing.

I made my own gnocchi over winter break and it was only marginally successful 🙁 . I would also be buying it for this beautiful stew! Perfect for winter!
