Each bite of these tasty Deluxe Peanut Butter Bars is a mouthful of peanut buttery, marshmallowy, chocolaty, and Rice Krispies goodness. They’re easy to make using refrigerated cookie dough. Treat your ghosts and goblins to these this Halloween!
It’s that time again when we load on the sugary treats. Halloween is just around the corner! For some adults, it’s the most wonderful time of the year; they go all out with the decorations and costumes. For others, it’s the time of year when they experience a strong impulse to steal from their children. What am I talking about? Let’s just say it’s not just the kids or ghosts and goblins that cause the candy to mysteriously disappear from the trick-or-treating buckets.
I’m not judging…I, too, might have been guilty of this compulsion once, twice…a couple dozen times tops!
These days, my kids are too old for trick-or-treating, but they are not too old for sweets. This decadent snack has all the components of a peanut butter bar and chocolaty Rice Krispie treats. My kids love this bar. It is delicious and cures a sweet tooth, crankiness, general malaise, and the common cold. Sorry, I took it too far with that last one!
Anyway, I hope you try this recipe. For quick and easy assembly, I use peanut butter cookie mix. But if you want to make them from scratch, go right ahead. Serve them to your ghosts and goblins and watch them disappear.
