Instructions
- Cut bacon into 3/4 inch pieces. Add bacon to a preheated large nonstick 6-quart saucepan on medium-high heat. Brown using wooden spatulas to separate bacon pieces, approximately 10 minutes. Drain fat. Set aside.
- Return pan to heat and add green beans and beef broth. Cover and allow to come to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway. Remove from heat. Drain most of the liquid, leaving about 1/8″ at the bottom of the pan. Stir-fried onions. Transfer the bean mixture to a serving bowl.
- Makes 8 servings.

Bacon makes everything better!
I totally agree!!????
hmm
I wish the fried onions were Gluten free.
Hi Sue. They are available, but you might have to do a little searching for them. I did a quick Google search and found that Full Circle Market and Ian’s Foods are two brands that make gluten free French fried onion rings. I think Price Chopper and Wegmans carry them, if you have those stores near you.
WOW! Thanks for the search info…I’ll try to find a local source.
My pleasure! Good luck!!
